Homes, Teleports & Warps

Getting around: homes, teleport requests, spawn and warps.

Overview

Nobody wants to walk everywhere. HellHold uses EssentialsX to get you around the world quickly — set personal homes, teleport to friends, and hop to public warps.

This book covers:

Heads-up: keepInventory is off, so if you die on the way somewhere your items go into a grave at the spot — see the Graves book.

Homes

A home is a saved location you can teleport back to any time. Set one at your base, your farm, your favourite build — wherever you keep coming back to.

Commands

If you only have one home you can just type /home to go straight to it.

How many homes can I have?

The number of homes you can set depends on your rank:

Rank Homes
Member 3
VIP 5
Staff 10

Reached your limit? Delete one with /delhome <name> to free up a slot, or set a new home over an old one.

Tip: name your homes something you will remember — base, farm, nether — so you are not guessing later.

Teleporting to Players

Want to visit a friend? You do not need coordinates — just send a teleport request. The other player has to accept, so nobody can teleport to you uninvited.

Commands

When you send a request, the other player sees a message and can /tpaccept or /tpdeny. Requests time out after a short while if there is no answer.

Etiquette: /tpahere pulls someone away from whatever they were doing, so use it sparingly — /tpa to go to them is usually the polite choice.

Spawn & Warps

Beyond your personal homes, there are server-wide locations everyone can travel to.

Spawn

Spawn is the safe hub everyone starts from — a good fallback if you are lost or stuck.

Warps

Warps are public teleport points set up by staff (markets, event areas, hubs and so on).

The list of warps grows as the server does, so check /warps now and then to see what is new.
