Tree Felling
Chop whole trees in one swing.
Overview
No more leaving floating logs behind. With TreeTimber, breaking the bottom log of a tree with any axe fells the whole tree at once — every log drops in one go.
It is enabled for everyone by default, and you can toggle it for yourself any time. See Commands & Tips for the details.
Pair it with replanting a sapling on the fresh stump and you have a one-swing, sustainable timber routine.
Commands & Tips
Turning it on and off
Tree felling is on for everyone by default. To toggle it just for yourself:
/timber— switch your own tree felling on or off.
Turn it off when you only want to break a single log (for example, harvesting one block from a big custom tree without dropping the lot).
How it works
- Works with any axe — wood, stone, iron, diamond or netherite.
- It costs axe durability per log, exactly the same as if you chopped each one by hand, so a big tree still wears your axe.
- Break the lowest log to bring the whole tree down.
Tips
- Bring an axe with Unbreaking and Mending if you fell a lot of trees — durability adds up fast on big jungle and dark-oak trees.
- Replant a sapling on the stump straight after felling to keep your tree farm going.
