Backpacks

Portable storage you can carry in your inventory.

Getting one

Backpacks are craftable. Open your recipe book (the book icon in your inventory/crafting screen) and look up the backpack recipe to see the ingredients.

Using it

• Right-click while holding a backpack to open it.
• Store items inside, then close — the contents travel with the backpack.
• A backpack can be placed in chests, dropped, and picked up again; its contents stay with it.

Treat a full backpack like any valuable item — if it is destroyed, its contents go with it.
