Sign Elevators

Skip the staircases — sign elevators teleport you straight between floors.

Setting one up

1. Place a sign and write one of these on the first line:
   • [Lift] — two-way (up and down)
   • [Lift Up] — up only
   • [Lift Down] — down only
2. Place a second lift sign directly above or below the first, at the same X and Z (lined up vertically).

You can use standing, wall, or hanging signs.

Riding it

• Right-click a lift sign to go up.
• Sneak + right-click to go down.

When you place a lift sign it confirms with a message and shows a brief guide line so you can see it lined up.

The elevator will not teleport you if the destination is blocked or has no floor — clear the landing spot if a lift seems to do nothing.
