Turning it on and off

Tree felling is on for everyone by default. To toggle it just for yourself:

• /timber — switch your own tree felling on or off.

Turn it off when you only want to break a single log (for example, harvesting one block from a big custom tree without dropping the lot).

How it works

• Works with any axe — wood, stone, iron, diamond or netherite.
• It costs axe durability per log, exactly the same as if you chopped each one by hand, so a big tree still wears your axe.
• Break the lowest log to bring the whole tree down.

Tips

• Bring an axe with Unbreaking and Mending if you fell a lot of trees — durability adds up fast on big jungle and dark-oak trees.
• Replant a sapling on the stump straight after felling to keep your tree farm going.
